Welcome!
If you’re like many online content creators, you want to focus more on the things you are good at, plan ahead so you don’t have to sit staring at a blank computer screen (wondering what on earth you should be creating) and gain a better understanding of how to do some of the more technical things in blogging without worrying about breaking your site or needing a degree in computer coding.
But deep down you feel like you are failing. Like you can’t keep up, can’t figure stuff out, can’t get organized and can’t keep going at the pace you are going.

Kim, I absolutely love what I do. I enjoy every chance I get to create content for my website. However there are days I struggle with focus. There are so many things that I could do, I just don’t know what’s the next best thing to pursue. On the other hand, I feel guilty when I work on the blog and my house is a wreck. I feel guilty letting the kids watch TV or use tablets while I work. There are days when I just can’t figure out some of the technical stuff but I’m not in a place to hire a IT person at this time. I just need help, encouragement and guidance.
Does any of this resonate with you?
- You create content, you launch it with excitement and you are let down by the underwhelming response?
- You love what you do but you struggle to balance working on your content and spending time with family?
- You enjoy the content creation side of blogging but get bogged down in the technical stuff for hours upon hours not knowing what to do?
- You have a successful online business but you struggle with focus and time management that are preventing you from taking it to the next level?
I TOTALLY KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!
When I began my blog Thrifty Little Mom over 4 years ago, I felt a little out of my league. I had to figure lots of stuff out by trial and error. I had to read a million tutorials. I had to gather all kinds of information (good and bad) from the internet and piece it all together. I wrote my blog in the margins of my life- late at night or during my kid’s nap times. But over time I got the hang of it, set some seriously scary goals for myself and built a thriving online platform.
I’ll never forget the day that I read about how a fellow blogger had made enough money from her blog that her Aeronautics Engineer husband was able to quit his job and stay at home. That became a driving force behind all my online efforts because what we longed for more than anything else was life flexibility and for my husband to never waste another hour of his life sitting in traffic and commuting to work. In January 2017 my goal came to pass. Just 5 months after we had our twin baby girls! Now my husband is being a stay at home dad and pursuing his own entrepreneurial dreams.
Another goal I had set was to get a traditional publishing contract in 2016 and it happened! My first traditionally published book is coming out in October 2017.
I say all this to say that I’ve been where you are. I only wish there was someone there in the times when I just felt lost, confused, unfocused and unequipped. So that’s why I started Kim Anderson Consulting. My passion is to help other online content creators pursue their goals and achieve them. Beyond that I want to make the technical side of online content creation easier to understand via courses, content and even coaching. I want you to start thriving no matter how far you are in your online content creation journey. If you are a content creator, I’m going to help you focus, plan and understand so you can make money doing what you love every single day!

Even though I love writing every single day, my passion deep down is helping people and it’s something I’m really, genuinely good at. Therefore I started coaching online content creators because I seriously GEEK out over this stuff. It’s my life and I love everything about it! I’ve been consulting and coaching people for 9 years and started my own blog over 6 years ago.

I have extensive knowledge of growing an online platform from the ground up. Because of the platform I built, I was able to secure my first traditional publishing book deal coming in October 2017 titled, Live, Save, Spend, Repeat: The Life You Want With the Money You Have.
